1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms apply to the OnStage APS website ("Website") and to the OnStage app for Android ("App"), which offers the same services as the Website on your phone: below we call them together "Services". By using the Services you declare that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms of Service. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Services.
2. Description of the service
Through the Site, OnStage APS provides the following services:
- Information on the cultural events organized by the association
- Event registration
- Membership card management
- Editorial content (blog)
- Members-only area
- Chat between members (channels and private conversations) and posting photos in event galleries, governed by the community rules in section 6
3. Creating an account
To access certain features you need to create an account. You agree to provide truthful, accurate and complete information during registration and to update it if it changes.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential. If you become aware of unauthorized access, notify us immediately at info@onstageaps.com.
4. Event registrations
Event registrations are subject to availability. Registration is only confirmed upon receipt of the confirmation email. OnStage APS reserves the right to cancel or modify events in case of force majeure.
5. Membership card
The membership request is subject to approval by the Board of Directors. Approval is at the Board's discretion. The membership card is valid for one year (calendar year). The membership fee is set annually by the general meeting.
6. Community rules and user conduct
The Website and the App let you write in the members' chat, in channels and private conversations, and post photos in event galleries. Before you do it for the first time we ask you to accept these rules. They apply to everything you write, upload or send, to whoever you send it. Remember that readers include young people from the age of 14.
What is not allowed
- Harassment, insults, threats, bullying, stalking or humiliating a person, including in private.
- Content that incites hatred or discriminates against someone for their origin, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age or other personal characteristics.
- Sexual, pornographic or vulgar content, and requests for such content.
- Violence, threats, encouraging self-harm, illegal or dangerous activities.
- Any content that exploits, sexualises or endangers a minor, in any form (images, videos, texts, links, requests), and any attempt to groom a minor. It is always forbidden, without exception.
- Posting other people's personal data (address, phone number, documents, photos, private conversations) without their consent.
- Spam, unsolicited advertising, chain messages, misleading or dangerous links.
- Pretending to be another person, the association or its Board.
- Infringing copyright or other rights of third parties, trying to access the systems without authorisation, interfering with the operation of the Services.
Reporting and blocking
Under every chat message, and in the member list of a channel, you find «Report» and «Block». The report goes to the Board together with a copy of the reported message; the reported person does not know who reported them. Blocking is immediate and silent: the blocked person can no longer write to you privately, their messages in shared channels reach you collapsed, and they receive no notice. You can remove the block whenever you want.
What happens to people who break the rules
The Board reviews reports and, depending on how serious they are, can hide the content, mute the person in a channel, disable their chat or suspend their account. When content may be a crime, and in any case when it concerns the exploitation or abuse of minors, we report it to the competent authorities, such as the Italian Postal and Communications Police.
Minors and parents
From the age of 14 you can register on your own; under 14, registration requires the consent of a parent or guardian. Before writing for the first time, anyone under 18, or who has not given a date of birth, reads some advice on staying safe in chat. A parent or whoever has parental responsibility can ask to disable the chat of their child by writing to info@onstageaps.com: the Board disables it and records who asked and when.
7. Intellectual property
All content on the Site (text, images, logos, videos) is the property of OnStage APS or its respective owners and is protected by copyright law. Reproduction without written authorization is prohibited.
8. Limitation of liability
OnStage APS is not liable for direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the Site or the inability to access its services. The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Italian law. For any dispute, the Court of Lecce shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
