Frequently asked questions
Does the generated snippet work on any site?
Yes: the snippet is self-contained HTML+CSS+JS, with no external dependencies. Paste it into any HTML page, WordPress, Wix or other CMS in the custom HTML/code section.
Does the countdown keep working after the target date?
When the timer reaches zero it shows the message "Event started!" (customizable). There is no automatic behavior after the deadline.
Can I customize the colors?
Yes: use the color palette for background, text and accents. The colors are embedded directly in the inline CSS snippet, so it works anywhere regardless of the host site's CSS.
Is the countdown accessible to screen reader users?
The snippet uses aria-live="polite" attributes to announce timer changes. The alternative text describes the time remaining. Test it with your preferred screen reader.
Can I have multiple countdowns on the same page?
Yes: each snippet uses automatically generated unique IDs, so multiple countdowns won't conflict. Generate one snippet per event.
Does the snippet use external JavaScript?
No: the snippet is completely self-contained. It doesn't load external libraries or make server requests. It weighs about 2-3 KB minified.
