GDPRText

Generate a draft privacy notice under art. 13 GDPR for your APS. 3-step guided wizard, DOCX and PDF output.

1. Data of the data controller

The Data Controller (art. 4 Reg. EU 2016/679) is the APS itself, which acts through its legal representative.

Data Protection Officer (DPO)

If the association has appointed a Data Protection Officer, write their name and email here: they will appear in the privacy notice. If none has been appointed, leave the fields blank and the document will say nothing about it. If you are unsure whether the appointment is mandatory, ask a privacy consultant before publishing the notice.

Frequently asked questions

It is a legally grounded draft but not final. It must be reviewed by your DPO, lawyer, or privacy consultant before use, as each APS has specificities that the automatic generator cannot fully cover.

The notice must be delivered when data is collected: upon registration (members), event registration, or before collecting email for the newsletter. Can be delivered in paper or digital format.

Update it whenever processing purposes change, external managers, or transfers to third countries. We recommend annual review and any time digital tools used change.

Yes: for each purpose (member management, events, newsletter), the correct legal basis is stated (contract art.6.1.b, legitimate interest art.6.1.f, consent art.6.1.a).

Yes: the DOCX is a standard Word file editable with Microsoft Word, LibreOffice or Google Docs. The PDF is the final version ready for distribution (it does not contain a digital signature: if you need a signature, it must be added separately).

No: the tool generates a single document, the general privacy notice. A specific consent form to be attached to the newsletter subscription form, if you need one, must be prepared separately.
