Everything you need to know about this tool.
How does automatic line timing work?
Enter the song's total duration and BPM. The tool splits the lyrics into blocks of one line each and distributes them evenly, adjusting for instrumental sections (intro, outro, bridge) that you can indicate explicitly. Is the SRT file compatible with YouTube?
Yes, SRT is the universal standard format for subtitles: compatible with YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram Reels (manual upload), Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro and practically any video software. Can I adjust the timing manually?
Yes, after automatic generation you can enter "edit timing" mode: for each line you see an editable start/end timecode. You can also sync manually by moving the cursor along the video ("sync mode" feature). Why are subtitles important for music videos?
For three reasons: accessibility (people with hearing difficulties can enjoy the content), engagement (many people watch videos without sound in public places), and SEO (YouTube indexes subtitle text). It's a best practice that's not only ethical but strategic.Does the tool support multiple languages for bilingual artists?
You can create SRT files in multiple languages from the same lyrics: enter the text in Italian and English (or in the Salento dialect), and get two SRT files with the same timing. YouTube allows uploading multiple subtitle files per language.
