Frequently asked questions
What formats can I download?
PosterMaker exports to high-resolution PNG (72-300 dpi depending on the chosen format). Rendering happens via Canvas API in your browser, so there is no upload.
Is the font I use on the poster embedded in the PNG?
Yes: when rendering, text is rasterized on the canvas, so the font is embedded in the image and visible on any device.
Can I use the PNG for professional printing?
A4 format is generated at 794×1123 px (equivalent to 96 dpi on A4 paper). For high-quality offset printing we recommend using a vector PDF: this is a feature planned in the Premium plan.
Is the data I enter sent to your servers?
No. All generation happens in your browser via Canvas API. No text, background image, or data is ever transmitted to our servers.
Can I add a custom logo?
Yes: the "Background" field accepts both photos and logos. Drag the image into the dedicated area. For vector logos (SVG) we recommend exporting them to PNG first.
How many posters can I generate?
Unlimited. PosterMaker is completely free for APS and has no usage limits.
