Frequently asked questions
Can I share the shift schedule with volunteers?
Yes-the configuration is serialized in the URL hash. Copy and paste the browser link to share the schedule with volunteers. Each link opening shows the same plan.
Can I export the plan as PDF?
Yes-use the "Export PDF" button to generate a shift grid formatted for printing. The PDF includes all volunteers and time slots with assignments.
How many volunteers and slots can I add?
There is no technical limit, but for readability we recommend a maximum of 20 volunteers and 10 time slots per export. For larger numbers, use CSV export for management.
Does drag & drop work on mobile?
Yes-drag & drop uses Angular CDK DragDrop with touch support. On mobile it works with finger dragging. You can also use keyboard (arrow keys + Enter).
Is data saved between sessions?
Data is in browser localStorage (persists across sessions on the same browser) and in the URL hash (shareable). There is no cloud synchronization.
Can I assign multiple volunteers to the same slot?
Yes-each slot can contain multiple volunteers. Drag names one by one into the same slot. The print view lists all volunteers for each slot.
